How the money management game works

Decision Making

Children earn virtual money for every correct quiz answer. They get to spend this on their avatar, save it, invest it or donate it - just like they will have to in real life.

Experiential learning

The goal is to maximise their net wealth. They can see how their net wealth compares with other students on the leaderboard - it’s a great incentive to stay engaged!

Life Learning

The result is they acquire the knowledge and confidence to make good financial decisions as they grow up - when it really matters.

Connecting learning with real life

MoneyTime has 13 financial education lessons kids can do with their parents

Within the program there are also an optional 13 Parent - Child modules.

These are specifically designed for you to complete with your child.

They help reinforce your child’s learning and, most importantly, they put their learning into your family context.

They also give you an opportunity to have some real conversations about money and the future with them.
